12th Annual Angola Formation Evaluation Forum

** April 10-11, 2013 ** Skyna Hotel - Luanda, Angola.

Formation Evaluation is one of the driving forces behind the success of the Angolan oil business. For the twelfth year, the Luanda chapter of the SPWLA will host the Angolan Formation Evaluation Forum in Luanda. The goal of this Forum is to provide a venue for industry professionals who are involved in Formation Evaluation, in Angola, to exchange the most recent advances in technology and processes.

The Forum will take place over a two day period in which some 25 presentations on Formation Evaluation that are relevant to Angola will be presented. In addition, on April 13th, a post-Forum geological field trip to the Libongos oil seeps north of Luanda will be offered and lead by our own Tako Koning. 

Last year the Forum attracted over 150 attendees from more than 20 international oil companies, oil service companies, universities, Sonangol, and the Ministry of Petroleum.  Cost for the Forum and field trip is $200/person.  This includes lunch and coffee breaks for both days. The Luanda Chapter of SPWLA hopes you can join us for this year's event.
