9th Annual Angola Formation Evaluation Forum

** April 28-29, 2010 ** Hotel Tropico - Luanda, Angola.

Formation Evaluation is one of the driving forces behind the success of the Angolan oil business. For the ninth year, the Luanda chapter of the SPWLA will host the Angolan Formation Evaluation Forum in Luanda. The goal of this Forum is to provide a venue for industry professionals who are involved in Formation Evaluation, in Angola, to exchange the most recent advances in technology and processes.

The Forum will take place over a two day period in which some 20 presentations on Formation Evaluation that are relevant to Angola will be presented. In addition, a pre-Forum course on formation evaluation will be scheduled, as well as a post-Forum geological field trip to the Libongos oil seeps north of Luanda.

Last year the Forum attracted over 200 attendees from more than 20 international oil companies, oil service companies, universities, Sonangol, and the Ministry of Petroleum.
