The SPWLA 2012 Abu Dhabi Topical Conference title is "Gas Reservoir Characterization and Challenges." Evaluation adn development of gas reservoirs is of increasing importance throughout the Middle East, and the World. We plan to cover a wide range of challenges in characterization of gas reservoirs (both conventional and unconventional) including techniques, methodology, workflows and case studies.

The conference will be held at The Intercontinental Hotel on March 25-28, 2012.

The Spring 2012 SPWLA/SCA Topical Conference on Black Shale Petrophysics will cover a range of topics related to evaluating and optimizing development of these challenging unconventional reservoirs.

The conference will consist of three days of presentations and discussions. It will be held at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh.

To encourage sharing of the latest techniques and ideas, conference attendance is limited and proceedings are off the record.
