Use to search through SPWLA abstracts
(Symposium Transactions and Log Analyst/Petrophysics)
The SPWLA is presently scanning all Symposium Transactions and Log
Analysts and placing them on CD's. The first CD (1960-69 Transactions),
second CD (1970-79 Transactions) and third CDs (1980-89 Transactions) have
been completed and are available for purchase from the business office.
Other CD's will become available shortly.
The abstracts to the Transactions and Log Analysts are being placed onto
the web to allow keyword searching. If you find an abstract from an
article or presentation that you would like to have, contact the business
office for details. While individual copies of articles and presentations
can be purchased, if you find an article through this search, it means
that the CD should be available for purchase.
As of Transaction Abstracts from 1960 to 1995 and Log Analyst/Petrophysics
Abstracts from 1995-present are available for searching.
The next series of Transaction Abstracts (1995-2001) will be posted
shortly.
Enter any keywords to search against the abstract text, author or company
for.
The keywords can be anything, a keyword to be found in the abstract text,
an author's name, company, etc. Any word or words found in the abstract
including the title will be searched against.
(Note: searches in Log Analyst abstracts will search against individual
issues that can contain 1-4 articles. Therefore a 'successful' search on
two or more keywords might be due to each individual keyword occurring in
two or more abstracts in a single Log Analyst issue.)
