ABSTRACT

The paper discusses some results of well-log methods application in Morocco. These methods were applied in connection with the surface geophysical survey on the area of Karia Ba Mohamed/ Northern Zone of the Prerif Rides.

Geological and geophysical conditions are very complicated. The relations between the  geophysical data and the geological features were investigated by comparison of the data from the surface geophysical survey and the physical properties of the rocks from well-log and laboratory investigation. The correlation of the seismic, gravimetric and well-logging data occurring in the Northern Zone of the Prerif Rides helped to construct an approximate

geological-geophysical model of the Karia Ba Mohamed area.
