ABSTRACT
This paper briefly describes gas influence in the readings of different logs (CNL, GNT, FDC, etc.) describing therefore some of the methods that could be used in Mexico in order to detect gas casquets for optimum performance.
In the same manner some methods are described to normalize logs during this study.
Finally we have a practical case, Poza Rica, where the study is being undertaken.
