ABSTRACT

A study of the SCHLUMBERGER CYBERLOOK wellsite computation program was made to evaluate its effectiveness as an aid to petrophysical evaluation. A test well with good data and control was selected for the study. The study consisted of an evaluation of the sensitivity of the CYBERLOOK program to changes in input parameter values, a comparison of CYBERLOOK results with more sophisticated computer programs and a comparison of CYBERLOOK answers with routine hand calculations. Examples of the results are presented.
