Through 2000 Update

Introduction

The purpose of this bibliography is to emphasize the application and various uses of well-log data. The following general criteria are applied to papers to determine whether they will be included: 1) the paper must be written in English, 2) it must be obtainable by a research library, and 3) most of the paper should discuss a particular application of well-log data or have immediate impact on the use of such data.

Search results are limited to the first occurring 100 matches

Subsequent queries using same conditions will yield the same matches

Search Guidelines
Please enter either the author's name, year, and/or keywords of the article(s) you would like to find
(enter as all lower case).

Matching Exactly
Contains

If Contains is selected the search look for the occurrence of the your entry, even if it occurs within another word. For example, a search on sonic will yield sonic as well as ultrasonic. A search on John would yield John Smith as well as Bill Johnson. Partial entries can be used if you are not sure of the exact spelling. For example entering son will yield sonic also.
Is Exactly
If Is Exactly is select the search will look for the author or keyword entered exactly. Selecting this to match sonic exactly would eliminate ultrasonic matches. A exact match search on John would yield John Smith but not Bill Johnson. If you are not quite sure of the spelling of the author's, it would be best to search as contains, and not is exactly.

Name
The name entered searches against the authors first or last name in the database. There can be problems if the name entered is not unique enough.

Year
A year entered searches against the year of publication. This is just a text search, so you cannot search for publications before or after certain years, only a exact year search is possible.

Keywords
This will search for the occurrence of keywords in the TITLE of the article. If two keywords are entered, it will search for the occurrence of BOTH keywords in the title. (logical AND )
