INTERPRETIVE IMAGING

smartSECTION

An interactive geological toolkit that displays well logs that have been scanned by Interpretive Imaging. Designed to produce final, computer-drafted cross section plots. Wells can be hung structurally or stratigraphically. Tops, facies, unconformities, and faults can be picked with a mouse. Annotations can be added freely. Logs can be spliced together (e.g. a GR from a sonic used on a resistivity plot).

PLATO

The Interpretive Software Products (ISP) Production Logging Analysis Tool (PLATO) is an interactive graphical oil and gas Production Logs analysis program which employs ISP's Global Statistical Modeling Technique. With this unique technical approach, a complex Statistical Model of the entire well is generated utilizing as much of the available data from as many of the available tools as the analyst desires. Because the comparison is based on statistical criteria, any amount of data can be used, in contrast to an explicit analytical solution where the analyst selects a restricted number of tools and data points. PLATO automatically determines the flow regime using the Dukler analytical model. An enthalpy balance model allows the use of the temperature log to calculate the flow rates. PLATO's 1, 2 and 3 phase analysis for Production and Injection wells comes with integrated emulation capabilities, allowing for simulation of realistic cases from given production rates.

The PLATO architecture has been designed for an easy implementation of new tools and user models. PLATO's GUI enables the analyst to edit and visualize all data and results, both numerically and graphically through tables, graphs, histograms, and cross-plots. The Input/Output utility handles a comprehensive variety of data formats and a complete API plot program with binary database capabilities are also included in the package.. PLATO can also be connected to existing customer and industry databases. Complete comprehensive reports can be automatically generated and the form and content of these reports easily adjusted for format and content. Interactive on-line help is available and a system of wizards can guide the user through each step of the analysis.

SPINCAL

A Global Error Optimization Technique provides robust spinner calibration. SPINCAL is an open system allowing management of difficult situations occurring while handling spinner data. The quality of the calibration can be verified through global quality control at user selected depths. SPINCAL provides automatic or manual spin reversal, automatic or manual spin polarity, data filtering and interactive or manual depth matching. It allows graphic zonable line speed adjustment and spinner pass selection. It also includes basket preprocessing and calibration.

SPINCAL 's GUI enables the user to edit and visualize all data and results, both numerically and graphically through tables, graphs, histograms, and cross-plots. An Input/Output utility handles a variety of data formats. A complete API plot program and a binary database are included in the package. When combined with a data acquisition system SPINCAL can continuously monitor the progress of the data and allow important time reductions on the data acquisition.

ALICE

ALICE is an Interactive Graphical Analysis System, which provides fast and easy implementation of analysis applications using Global Statistical Modeling by Optimization or Traditional Analysis Methods. It allows users to solve complex multi-dimensional nonlinear problems without requiring a knowledge of the mathematical optimization or statistical methods needing to be applied. ALICE also includes a powerful set of software resources that simplify implementation of desired applications. With ALICE, developing an interactive and graphical application only requires the coding of the equations and declaration of parameters used in the desired analysis model. ALICE's Graphical User Interface (GUI) enables users to edit and visualize all data and results, both numerically and graphically through tables, graphs, histograms, and cross-plots.

ALICE's powerful tools also provide easy extension of applications through a comprehensive and automatic reporting capability. The ALICE Input/Output utility handles a comprehensive variety of data formats and also provided is a complete API plot program with binary database capabilities. ALICE can also be connected to existing customer and industry databases.

IPS's products provide interactive on-line help along with addition of customized taskbars and user wizards implemented through simple scripts. Also, IPS provides consulting services on the implementation of Global Statistical Modeling or Traditional Techniques.
