TLM1 brings AI technology to petrophysicists' "tool box" of routine computer programs and processes. This module uses a type of NEURAL NETWORK that acts like a multiple non-linear regression and automatic splinning program. TLM1 is supported on PC, MACINTOSH, SUN, HP, RISC, SILICON GRAPHICS, APOLLO, VAX, DATA GENERAL and IBM 3090.
TLM1 is comprised of three programs. The first (EXTRACTOR) extracts data from the databases such as PETCOM, COMCEN, UNILOG, CROCKER DATA, RECALL, etc. for use as training examples. The second program (TRAINER) trains a brainstate from the extracted training data. The third program (PROCESSOR) uses a trained brainstate from TLM1 or any other training program to process data in any log database. All three programs may be needed for developers, but users of TLM1 brainstates need only utilize the processing program. TKM1 provides powerful, affordable, intelligent machine learning and processing with the accuracy of a human and speed of digital computers.
