Workshop name: Porous Media: Structure, Flow, and Dynamics Workshop

Workshop venue: Schlumberger-Doll Research, 1 Hampshire Street, Cambridge, MA 02139, USA

Workshop date: Nov 1 – 2, 2019

Workshop theme: The workshop will advance our understanding of porous materials, structures, and associated dynamics of both solid and fluid phases, including new physics, methods, and analysis. New development in theory, experimental methods, and applications will be included. In particular, we are interested in the use of high-resolution imaging, digital simulation, and analysis techniques to gain insights and new applications. The workshop brings together academia and industrial scientists of diverse disciplines to share their discoveries and challenges.

Abstract submission: Participants are invited to submit an abstract for possible presentation at the workshop. Abstract submissions must include title, abstract (500 words or less), and author name(s) and affiliation(s). Abstracts should be submitted directly to [email protected] referencing the Porous Media Workshop in the email. Deadline to submit abstracts is October 14, 2019.
