The Angola chapter has been idle for quite a long time since the departure of Steve Espinosa and Tako Koning from Angola. At which time, the chapter was left under the guidance of its Treasurer and its Deputy Treasurer Mauro da Cruz and Carlos Sanuca, respectively. Due to financial issues the chapter was unable to organize the annual forums that were held previously. A new board was elected on 26 April. This will help to revive the chapter and facilitate formal acceptance by the parent body, SPWLA. We are looking forward to the return and participation of former chapter members.
