The High Angle/Horizontal Well SIG is devoted to help the petroleum community (Geology, Geophysics, Formation Evaluation, Drilling, Reservoir Engineering) understand the challenges associated with the acquisition, interpretation, and integration of HA/HZ wellbore data.

  • Discuss drilling and formation evaluation
  • Initiate joint industry projects (JIPs)
  • Present technical observations or studies
  • Conduct evaluations and comparisons

  • 2 E&P geologists and geophysicists
  • 3 Drillers and well testers
  • 4 Reservoir engineers
  • 5 Geologic and reservoir modelers
