 As the energy sector accelerates its shift toward low-carbon and sustainable solutions, subsurface geomechanics is becoming increasingly vital to the success of energy transition projects.
This SPWLA ASET SIG online workshop brings together leading experts to explore how geomechanics is being applied across a range of alternative subsurface projects—including geothermal energy, carbon capture and storage (CCS), and more.

Whether you're a petrophysicist, geoscientist, engineer or researcher this workshop offers insights into the important role geomechanics plays in enabling and de-risking subsurface energy transition projects.

From fault integrity under injection conditions to the integration of geomechanics in geothermal development and CCS planning, the sessions will highlight both technical challenges and emerging solutions.
