Resistivity SIG - Spring 2017 Meeting

SPWLA is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to advancing the science of petrophysics and formation evaluation through well logging and other techniques applicable to exploitation of gas, oil and other minerals. Founded in 1959, the organization serves as a voice of shared interests for scientists in the petroleum and mineral industries, strengthens petrophysical education and increases awareness of roles petrophysics play in the oil and gas industry as well as the scientific community.

Nested under SPWLA and based in Houston, Resistivity Modeling Special Interest Group (Rt-SIG) is an active society of resistivity logging specialists and people interested in resistivity related topics. Rt-SIG organizes meetings twice a year, featuring cutting-edge technical presentations and heated discussions on resistivity logging topics.

The upcoming meeting will be hosted by Aria Abubakar, Interpretation Engineering Manager & Scientific Advisor at Schlumberger. We are now calling for abstracts and presentations. Registration fee is $10 for students, $20 for SPWLA members and $30 for non-members.
